Windscreen Repair

A windscreen chip repair is quick, taking a little less than 30 minutes. UV light sets the repair which means you are free to drive straight away and get on with your day. 

Your car is under lots of stresses when it is on the road and our poor road surfaces and the Great British weather can quickly make any existing chips or damage a lot worse.    

Even the smallest chip should never be ignored. It can quickly turn into a large crack, which can dangerously affect your view and the structural integrity of the vehicle.  If a chip is not treated by a qualified technician, it could result in a much more costly windscreen replacement when the glass cracks.  

A damaged windscreen could cause your vehicle to fail an MOT test.   

A chip repair will ensure the structural integrity of the glass is restored so it will last the lifetime of the vehicle.

Dependent on the size and shape of the chip, some repairs can reduce the appearance of the damage, but it is not always guaranteed (no one can make a crack or chip disappear without replacing the window). For example, a small round chip might be less visible after repair than a slightly larger spider or star shaped crack. Essentially, you are injecting a resin into the chip to seal it and stop any further damage but unfortunately you cannot remove the visible damage all together.
